How to Measure Your Body for Men’s Leather Jacket

1. Chest
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest.
Keep the tape level and snug, not tight.
This is the most important measurement for choosing your jacket size.
2. Waist
Measure around your natural waistline – this is the area just above your belly button.
Make sure the tape sits straight and relaxed.
3. Biceps
Wrap the tape around the widest part of your upper arm.
Keep your arm relaxed by your side for an accurate reading.
4. Sleeve Length
Start at the edge of your shoulder (where a shoulder seam normally sits).
Run the tape down to your wrist bone while keeping your arm slightly bent.
This ensures comfortable movement in your jacket.
5. Shoulders
Ask someone to help you.
Measure straight across your back from one shoulder bone to the other.
Do not curve the tape – keep it horizontal.
6. Back Length
Place the tape at the base of your neck.
Measure straight down your back to where you want the jacket to end (usually around the hips for a men’s leather jacket).
FIT TIPS
- If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
- Leather eases and molds to your body over time.
- Measure over a T-shirt, not over a hoodie or thick clothing.
